TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions are valid between HATSHOE (or we or us), as seller and you ( or user) , as consumer.
To be able to place an order you must be older than the age of 18.
Placing an order with us constitutes a formal acceptance of our Terms and Conditions, which are always available through our website.
Users are responsible for keeping a copy of these Terms and Conditions themselves in a printed version or as a saved electronic version.

PRICES

The prices of our products  are indicated in Euro, including taxes but excluding the shipping cost.
The delivered goods remain property of Hatshoe until the complete payment of the due amount, inclusive all costs.
Products sold by Hatshoe to you are for private use only, they can not be used for resale.

ORDER online with us / VALIDATION / AVAILABILITY

Hatshoe aims to deliver a personal service. To be able to do this we prefer to stay in touch with you upon ordering online. This means you will have to contact us to know if your size is still available in the pair(s) you wish to order. You can do this by e-mail at hatshoe@hatshoe.be or by phone at +32 2 512 41 52
The model (s), with their reference number, colour and prices are clearly indicated on our website.
We will answer you in the shortest delay and help you with any eventual question regarding size and fitting.
After deciding which model, size, colour and confirming availability you can make your payment through our secure platform.
Price will be added with the shipping costs which vary between continents.
Upon reception of your payment we will proceed with shipping to the indicated address of your choice.
A secured confirmation email of payment will be sent to you as well.

DELIVERY

Hatshoe delivers to the EU, to Switzerland and to Norway. The following countries are members of the European Union: Germany, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Czech Republic, Hungary, Cyprus (South Cyprus only).

Orders are processed from Monday to Friday.
Products are sent by Bpost.
Products are delivered to the address you indicated when ordering. 
If the address on your order is not correct, HATSHOE is not responsible for failure to deliver your order.
HATSHOE is not responsible for the consequences when there is a delay in delivery time.

RETURNS / REFUNDS

Under the terms of the Belgian law and regulations, (Verkoop op afstand aan consumenten: Wet van 14 juli 1991) you have the right to decide that you do not want to keep the goods delivered to you by us without costs and without giving any reason within 14 days after ordering.
However we ask you to let us know by e-mail within 3 days after receiving your shoes if decide not to keep them. We are a small shop with limited quantities and would like to keep informed on any eventual changes. It allows us to guarantee a better service towards you and our clientele on- and offline. 

You can return shoes only in their original state and original packaging to Hatshoe, Rue Antoine Dansaert 89, B-1000 Brussels.
To avoid any deduction of your refund, please make sure that the shoes are in the exact same condition as when you received them. They have to be unused, undamaged and in their original packaging. Returns have to reach us back maximum 7 days after you sent us your email with decision to return the goods.
Returns that do not meet our policy will not be accepted and will be sent back to the customer.

Refunds will be made within 30 days after reception of the shoes. 
The refund is made using the same payment method you used at the purchase and in the same currency as the original purchase.

You must inform us of any problems regarding the delivered shoes within 3 days after delivery. Depending on the case you may benefit from exchange or refund conditions in this article.
If by any chance we received a payment  from you by mistake or for a pair of shoes that is no longer available we will refund you the amount of the purchase within …days.

Purchased products are exchangeable into a different size. All exchanges are based on stock availability. 
Please note that sale products are non-exchangeable but can be returned for a voucher or gift card. 

SECURITY / PERSONAL INFORMATION

All online payments are processed through secured providers in order to protect all private data and make secure payments possible. For security reasons, we do not store any personal payment information any longer than necessary than to process your order.

HATSHOE does not use Cookies on its website. We do not store your personal information unless you opt-in for our newsletter. We keep only your email address in a privately owned secured database which is used solely for the communication of news about our shop and related activities.
You can at any time choose to unsubscribe.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All texts, illustrations and images on www.hatshoe.be are protected by author’s rights and European intellectual property law. In accordance with the provisions of the intellectual property law, only private use is authorised. Total or partial reproduction of the contents of our website is forbidden, unless asked for in writing at hatshoe@hathsoe.be and with written consent.
Our website, logos, texts, photographs, names, and in general all our communications on www.hatshoe.be are protected by intellectual property rights.
It is forbidden to use and/or change any of the intellectual property rights. You may not copy nor reproduce for example drawings, photographs names, texts, logos, colour combinations, etc... without our prior written and explicit consent. You can do this through email: hatshoe@hatshoe.be

FORCE MAJEUR

In case of force majeure, we are not obliged to fulfil our obligations. In that case we may either suspend our obligations for the duration of the state of force majeure or definitely repudiate the agreement.

Events of force majeure are all circumstances external to our will and control that render the respect of our obligations completely or partly impossible. Such events include amongst others strikes, fire, disruption of energy supplies or telecommunication networks or communication systems and/or the temporary down-time of the webshop, late delivery or absence of delivery by suppliers or other third parties,…

COMPLAINTS / DISPUTES / RESPONSABILITY

All contracts we conclude with our customers are, regardless of their place of residence, exclusively governed by Belgian law. Only the courts of Belgium are competent to adjudicate with disputes arising out of or connected to these contracts. If as a result of international law the law of a different country applies, the interpretation of the current terms and conditions will in the first instance be done in accordance to the Belgian Law on Market Practices and Consumer Protection.
